contradictions (1972)

This was distributed by me and PW at the North london Poly in 1972, towards the end on a student occupation. Virtually all of it was written by PW. It was the first directly “situationist” leaflet that I’d ever distributed, though I’d put in quotes from Vaneigem in the Socialist Society rag there in the previous year or so. It effectively led to a break with the Left in the Poly. Pretty much pro-situ stuff in it, but not bad.

The only thing a lecturer ever teaches you is his complicity with
